gnuTrade (pronounced “noo-trade”) is a financial trading company that brings you new ways to trade the markets and a completely new type of trading screen. It was founded by Lieven Van Marcke, an experienced financial trader who felt that conventional trading platforms were more complicated than they needed to be and were preventing people from exploring their trading potential.

Lieven decided to team up with programmers and design specialists to rethink the way financial data is displayed and conveyed to traders. They came up with the unique, game-like trading platform that is gnuTrade and also created new, easier ways to bet on the world markets.
