Bull Bear Market Race FAQs
 
The Bull-Bear Market Race is a fun, new way for you to view the real-time movement of live market prices and to express your market views. It is essentially a very visual form of a Basic Bet, which is a type of trade available from our trading platform.

Back the Bull if you think the buy price of the market will be higher, or back the Bear if you think the sell price of the market will be lower by the end of the time limit (end of the race). You can use play money or make a deposit to play for real profits.
We currently offer nine markets for the Bull-Bear Market Race. These are Oil, Gold, GBP, Yen, Euro, FTSE 100, DAX, DOW and NASDAQ. 
Yes. The Bull-Bear game is linked to your normal gnuTrade trading account so any wins or losses will be reflected in your usual play and/or real money balances.
To play for real profits you need to make a deposit in your gnuTrade trading account. Simply click the 'Play for Real' button in the Bull-Bear Market Race screen to open up our cashier, where you can choose from a variety of secure deposit and withdrawal methods.

You can also make a deposit in the usual way from the gnuTrade website or trading platform when you are logged in. 
The Bull-Bear Market Race can be played during usual market trading hours. Some of the available markets open from 7am GMT, and remain open until around 10pm GMT.

The history of your market bets can be viewed in your usual gnuTrade trading statement, when you log in to your account. The race bets are listed as Basic Bets. 
When you click the graph icon during a Bull Bear Market race you can see the real-time market movements being plotted as a graph. This gives you an alternative way to view the Bull Bear race, and allows you to see how the prices have moved as the race progresses.
