YHOO is top of the news..... - 2008/11/14 22:36 Hi

YHOO sometimes top of the news. Now the news is Microsoft-Yahoo Should Reach Search Deal, Jefferies & Co. says a partnership now would benefit both companies.

But I think the company may act negative way soon.

Would you like to share price??

Thanks

Re:YHOO is top of the news..... - 2008/11/17 19:58 Yahoo lost its opportunity to be bought by MS, and now it is practically begging them to buy them

At the end, I think Yahoo will have no choice but to sell its shares very cheaply

Re:YHOO is top of the news..... - 2008/11/19 20:50 Hi

The hot news for YHOO is the co-founder Jerry Yang will step down as chief executive once the struggling Web portal finds a replacement.

Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang's resignation is giving investors hope that a Microsoft deal will follow. WSJ's Julia Angwin speaks to S&P analyst Scott Kessler about the shift.

The departure of Yang, 40, takes place after a rocky 17-month tenure marked by failed mergers and partnerships, as well as a plunging stock price. His resignation comes six months after Yahoo failed to close a merger deal with Microsoft Corp. which had offered $33 per share, or $47 billion, to buy the company.

So, now investors are hoping that a deal may happen between YHOO and MICROSOFT. For this reason the share price of the company may turn to upwards trend from now.

Thanks
