Hey traders! It's been a while. Hopefully I will be able to see you guys here more often
Most U.K. stocks fell, led by travel- related companies and retailers as crude oil rallied a third day. Thomas Cook Group Plc and Marks & Spencer Plc retreated.
Taylor Wimpey Plc led homebuilders lower after the U.K.'s largest reported a first-half loss. Man Group Plc declined after the hedge-fund manager said its flagship fund fell last week.
Mining companies including Kazakhmys Plc limited declines on a rise in commodities prices and after Antofagasta Plc posted higher profit.
The FTSE 100 Index lost 12.7, or 0.2 percent, to 5,458 at 12:05 p.m. in London as more than two stocks fell for every one that rose. The FTSE All-Share Index retreated 0.3 percent and Ireland's ISEQ Index slipped 0.5 percent.
