best and worst trades - 2007/09/20 01:17 Dear All
I'm new to the game(In Cape Town) but have been doing lots of research. I would like to know your best and worst trades incl : Why u traded(what info u had, what technique u used ie fundamentals, trending, news etc ), what your profit/loss was, on what stock/currency and what u would have done in retrospect(If u went out the money etc)).I have been looking at candles and doji's and Eliott waves,Fibo's and moving averages etc. I would like to make cash and would like to learn from all u guys and girls, if thats ok.

Re:best and worst trades - 2007/09/20 20:24 I think the best thing to do is start using the trading platform and trading with playmoney, practice a lot, keep an eye on forums and the news, etc. It's the only way, as markets are very unpredictable, you can just guess if a market will go up or down. There are a lot of factors that affect a market, mostly from international news like severe weather, war, earthquakes, etc.

I hope it helps a little bit.

Re:best and worst trades - 2007/09/21 02:36 And lately US mortgage rates, hehe. That American mess is affecting almost the entire world.

But, as Barbara states, you have to simply practice a lot, see the market movements and trends, etc. Economics is not really an exact science, especially everyhting related with stocks, currencies and commodities.

That's why, my friend, start practicing with playmoney, it really helps out.

Cheers!
